Deborah Drgac

MA. MPH.

Deborah Drgac is working as a social scientist in the SHoW group, where she focuses on the informal care structure of chronic wounds in Austria. She is also writing her doctoral thesis on social and political aspects of the health care system, while highlighting the structural gaps through the case of chronic wounds. Therefore, she studies the experiential knowledge of patients, family members, health care professionals and caregivers. She holds a master’s degree in sociology, as well as in public health, and worked for the Ministry of Health. In her research, she puts the focus on health-related issues and enjoys working in an interdisciplinary team like SHoW.
