SHoW blog: Thinking about wound healing and senescence from different perspectives

With the most recent addition, there are now four posts on the SHoW blog – time to get the word out!

The SHoW website recently added a new section: On our blog, we not only provide concrete impressions of the scientific work within our research group and the results from it. We also approach the topics of wound healing and senescence from different perspectives. We see the work on the blog posts largely as thinking outside the box, it challenges us and you, our reader, to engage with positions from other directions and disciplines. Our texts are intended to stimulate thought and thus enable new perspectives on our research area, its various phenomena and the associated challenges.

So far we have been outlining the essential aspects of wound care in the United Kingdom (UK) on our blog and giving a deep insight into the mysterious processes that take place in our body as we age. With our current article, we are starting a four-part series in which we address the consequences of the climate crisis: we analyze the connection between more frequent, more intense and prolonged periods of heat and chronic wounds as well as their causes and comorbidities.

We would be happy to win you as a regular reader for our blog and thus present you with the results of our thinking outside the box!
